Hutto is a city in Williamson County, Texas, United States. The population was 7,853 at the 2000 census but had grown to 20,543 by 2010. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area.

The city is perhaps best known for its unique "Old Settlers" annual festival, which celebrates the heritage of the area's original settlers who arrived in 1881 on a train called the International-Great Northern Railroad. The festival features traditional games, food and music from that era.
