Austin Steam Train Association Museum
The Austin Steam Train Association Museum is located in Cedar Park, Texas. The museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the steam train. The Cedar Park Depot was built in 1887 by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company (MKT). The depot served as a passenger and freight station for the MKT Railroad. In 1975, the Cedar Park Historical Society was formed to preserve the depot. The Cedar Park Depot was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
